The Somerton Morris Invasion 2009!
Each year the Somerset town of Somerton hosts its Summer Arts Festival lasting for a week in July, with events at locations all over the town. It has featured morris dancing many times, but a new feature in 2008 was the "morris invasion" when a large number of visiting morris sides took over the town centre and entertained the crowds. This was such a success for both the festival and the visiting teams that it is going to be repeated.
